In the second part, I will introduce you to the most cost-effective way to start learning and introduce you to a teacher.

Books
Books are still the easiest way to start your financial freedom goals. I learned my love for reading from my mother and having access to the library very young. I only got exposed to education and self-help books much later in my life and could not get enough. I have a whole collection of books and do not exactly know when I got introduced to Robert Kiyosaki and Rich Dad Poor Dad. The book changed everything for me, and I had to have all his books.
Find A Mentor
If you are serious about financial freedom, I will encourage you to find a mentor as soon as possible. I started my first company at 30, with little money and no experience. It was a struggle in the beginning, but I would not have been able to do it without the guidance of my mentor.
A mentor is willing to share their wisdom and experience with you, so you can avoid making the same mistakes. A good mentor can also guide you on what steps to take next in your journey. Save you time, our most valuable asset in life.
Very First Book Recommendation
If you are unsure where to start, I recommend reading Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki. This book was a game-changer for me and will give you a good overview of what is possible if you are willing to change your mindset about money. Of all the books in my collection, this one is my favourite. I have read it several times and own an audio version. I think I listened to it ten times, if not more.

The #1 personal finance book of all time. Translated into dozens of languages and sold worldwide. (Info copied From Amazon)
Rich Dad Poor Dad is Robert's story of growing up with two dads - his birth father and the father of his best friend, his rich dad - and how both men shaped his thoughts about money and investing. The book explains the myth that you need to earn a high income to be rich and the difference between working for money and having your money work for you.
20 Years... 20/20 Hindsight
In the 20th anniversary edition of this classic, Robert offers an update on what we've seen over the past 20 years related to money, investing, and the global economy. Sidebars throughout the book will take listeners "fast forward" - from 1997 to today - as Robert assesses how the principles taught by his rich dad have stood the test of time.
In many ways, the messages of Rich Dad Poor Dad, which were criticised and challenged two decades ago, are more meaningful, relevant and vital today than they were 20 years ago.
As always, listeners can expect that Robert will be candid and insightful. And continue to rock more than a few boats in his retrospective.
Will there be a few surprises? Count on it.
Rich Dad, Poor Dad.
Explodes the myth that you need to earn a high income to become rich
Challenges the belief that your house is an asset
It shows parents why they can't rely on the school system to teach their kids about money
Defines once and for all an asset and a liability
Teaches you what to teach your kids about money for their future financial success
This was an easy choice for my first book.
The book details financial freedom and is rated no 12 on Amazon's best-seller list when writing this article.
Click on the book and find reviews by famous people.
This book is terrific and should be the first step in introducing the financial freedom series. Learn about investing, finances, retirement, economic freedom, financial freedom, financial independence, passive income, income and expenses, assets and liabilities. Robert writes about debt, investments, wealth, emergency funds and the stock market.
What made it the best seller is the story he created and the story's account to explain things. Robert Kiyosaki explains it in a way even children can understand. To be able to promote the book on Amazon is hopefully a way to pay forward what I learned from Robert Kiyosaki.
Part Two
Introduction to a coach.
The coach I use is like a life coach, although he does not do one-to-one mentorship. He also does not give advice. As you will read in the recommended book, it is difficult to become financially free and almost impossible. The system wants to keep us poor, and you must take ownership of your retirement plan. It does not matter what age you are.
You will be paying for education sometime in your life. You will pay to learn or pay because you did not learn.
It is a bit like buying insurance. Or you will pay later because we see how retirement plans fail and people lose their savings because of a lack of knowledge.
What does a financial freedom plan look like?
What are your options?
You can do it on your own, or you can use a coach.
I recommend using a mentor because he will introduce you to the world of financial freedom and be there to answer any questions you have.
I have been working with my coach for over 16 years, and I understood most of the things he taught me, but the tricky part was implementing what I learned. The problem is everyday life learning needs to become a lifestyle.
How much time are you spending educating yourself on financial freedom? How much money are you spending on financial independence?
A financial freedom plan starts with a goal. Then the amount of money (surplus) or time you have to spend on the purpose and the growth you need on your surplus. That is it. Excess can be money, time or effort. Me writing this article is spending time and effort. In the course, which I will talk en the next chapter, the coach goes into a lot of detail and includes a calculator.
What is the definition of financial freedom?
The money that comes into your bank account or savings account without having to work must be more than your expenses.
Robert Kiyosaki talks about It a lot in his book. It took him and his wife, Kim, about four years to reach it. When he understood it, or more importantly, when they understood it, they started from a shallow base. Financial freedom is easier to achieve for people earning less. More money is no guarantee. It makes it more difficult. Before I get to the point, if attaining financial freedom is your goal, and you want to learn about passive income and commit to achieving it, you need to start learning and use the services of a coach, a mentor, or teacher, somebody who has done before.
The coach I want to introduce you to is Dr Hannes Dreyer.
